Hi, CodeGeek

There are no settings inside the theme that will change the default page template. However, you can achieve the same result with custom coding. You can also overwrite the current default page template to achieve the desired output: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/template-files-section/page-template-files/

Cheers

I think the point of my request was lost somewhat. I'd like to have any new page I create automatically use the "Blank" template instead of the "Default" template. Is that possible?

Hi, CodeGeek

If you select blank template then it would still possible to select "Full Content / No Sidebar". But since you are using the template "blank", then the layout would be completely ignored.

Hi,

Is there a way to set a default template and layout for Pages on the site? For example in the “Page Attributes” section in the right sidebar of the admin area, the Template drop down selector would by default be set to the “Blank” template. And below that under “Appearance” the Page Layout drop down would be set to “Full Content / No Sidebar”.

If it's already an option, maybe I'm missing it?

Thanks
